Job Summary
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum building floors; clean windows, mirrors, doors, handles, countertops, and tabletops; supply and maintain restrooms; remove waste and empty trash; replenish cleaning supplies; organize janitorial storage; and maintain a cleaning chart indicating inspected areas. Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or repair needs. Perform other duties as assigned while observing safety procedures, managing time efficiently, and working individually or within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
