General Cleaner at Macy's (Blue Chip Pros) responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, including high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, grounds and public-area maintenance, and food court cleaning. Requires knowledge of basic janitorial practices, use of germicidal solutions, and safe handling of chemicals per MSDS. Responsibilities include following prescribed cleaning sequences, inspecting and replenishing supplies, and ensuring spaces are sanitary, orderly, and presentable. Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors, and maintain physical condition to perform tasks (lift 1–30 lbs, climb stairs, reach overhead). Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor with customers and report issues to a supervisor or account manager. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or account manager, including potential floor stripping, carpet extraction, or other duties as needed.
