Job Summary
Perform various cleaning activities in assigned buildings/facilities, maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic operations of janitorial work
- Familiarity with methods, materials, and equipment used in janitorial work
- Understanding of basic safe work practices
- Ability to use toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets)
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment
- Ability to interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties, including lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, reaching, and maintaining safety standards.
