General Cleaner

A Janitor is responsible for keeping the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected. Essential duties include cleaning interiors (floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls), vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning chairs and upholstered furniture, dusting furniture and fixtures, emptying trash/recycling, disinfecting desks, door handles, phones, restrooms, replenishing supplies, washing windows, and maintaining a cleaning chart. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and close doors at the end of the night shift. Competencies emphasize attendance, dependability, safety, and ability to follow instructions.
