Job Summary
Perform janitorial cleaning across assigned facilities, including high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and public area upkeep. Follow cleaning procedures (S-stroke dusting, door/window cleaning, germicidal solutions), maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure equipment and supplies are used safely. Ensure customer-facing areas are clean and orderly, communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors, and report any issues to the supervisor. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and operate cleaning equipment; maintain a neat personal appearance and stay quiet when required. Adhere to MSDS guidelines and safety standards; perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or account manager.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic janitorial work
- Basic safe work practices
- Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment
- Ability to interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods; lift 1–30 lbs; climb stairs and ladders; reach overhead
- Attention to safety and maintaining a clean, neat appearance
