Job Summary
Perform cleaning and sanitation duties across assigned areas including high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash disposal, floor cleaning, and general maintenance of public areas. Must follow cleaning procedures, use germicidal solutions safely, operate janitorial equipment, and maintain a clean, courteous presence while interacting with customers and supervisors. Typical tasks include dusting, spot cleaning, window cleaning, trash management, floor mopping, and assisting with floor care as directed by the supervisor or account manager. Requires ability to lift 1–30 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and work during early morning shifts (6am–10am, M/W/F/S) in Laredo, TX. Knowledge of MSDS sheets, safety practices, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic janitorial operations
- Ability to operate janitorial equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Sufficient communication with co-workers and supervisors
- Experience with cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets
- Lift/carry 1-30 lbs
