Job Summary
Conduct sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, vacuuming, and floor extraction to maintain daily facility cleanliness. Remove trash, sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, wash windows, and clear snow or ice from entryways. Clean desks, walls, furniture, glass surfaces, and light fixtures while recycling materials. Perform any additional duties directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative. Work a full-time 2nd shift in a physically demanding environment requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures. This role is part of HES's educational facilities management program, supporting over 200 million square feet across 29 states.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Background check
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
- 2nd Shift availability
