Job Summary
Establish outpatient-focused general cardiology practice with inpatient consult coverage, collaborating with interventional cardiology for procedural and STEMI-related care. Manage clinic panels and support inpatient consults alongside APPs, while handling 14 days of shared call coverage with community partners. No in-house call required; focus on clinic-based practice with manageable daily volumes and protected administrative time. Join a growing program supporting a new cath lab opening in March 2026, with established transfer agreements for CV surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Cardiology
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Completion of an ACGME certified fellowship program
- Board Certified in Specialty
- NC medical license
- DEA License
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Board certification in cardiology
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate proficiently in English
- High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills
- Must be available for 14 days of call coverage
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use their hands
- Must be able to hear
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to kneel
