Job Summary
General Cardiology Physician opportunity in Prescott Valley, AZ with Dignity Health Medical Group. Join a group of 3 providers and care for patients 55+ with a mix of outpatient and inpatient duties. Responsibilities include diagnosing cardiovascular disorders, performing patient exams, conducting diagnostic tests, developing tailored treatment plans, prescribing medications, coordinating referrals, and maintaining precise patient records. Clinical duties include TEEs, cardioversions, pacemaker implants, and heart catheterizations. Schedule features 3–4 full clinic days and 1–2 days half-clinic with on-call coverage (one day a week plus one full weekend per month) and coverage for major/minor holidays on a rotating basis. Clinic hours are 8–5 Monday–Friday. Office also specializes in congestive heart failure and is the area’s only cardiology office. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology from ACGME-approved programs
- Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology)
- Valid state medical license (MD or DO)
- Valid DEA certificate
- Open to new graduates and experienced cardiologists
