Job Summary
Manage patient panels through direct care, inpatient rounds, and clinic consultations while collaborating with advanced practice providers. Perform medical histories and physicals, document records per hospital bylaws, and provide call coverage for clinic and inpatient patients. Work Monday through Friday for 36 patient-facing hours with a shared call rotation of 1:4 or better. Board eligible or board certified non-interventional cardiologists with 2-5 years of experience are preferred. Join an established team of eight cardiologists and nurse practitioners supported by Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Non-Interventional Cardiologist
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Licensed Physician
- 2-5 years experience

- Experience with APP support for continuity of care
- Experience collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members
- Experience conducting patient-specific education
- Experience completing medical records
- Experience providing MyChart consultations
- Experience in inbasket management
- Experience making arrangements with hospitalists
- Experience providing call coverage for clinic patients
- Experience providing inpatient call coverage
- Experience teaching advanced practice providers, support staff or care team members
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
