Job Summary
Conduct outpatient cardiology coverage Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no call requirement. Manage patient volume of 18 to 20 daily by handling consults, follow-up appointments, treadmill testing, EKG interpretation, and echocardiogram readings. Work with an assigned medical assistant using the Cerner EMR. This board-certified role includes paid travel and expenses, with a revitalized downtown area and national parks nearby for time off.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification
- EMR experience with Cerner
- Ability to perform consults and follow-up appointments
- Ability to complete treadmill tests
- Ability to read EKGs
- Ability to read Echocardiograms
- Availability for Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule
- Ability to work without call requirements
- Ability to work in an outpatient setting
- Patient volume capacity of 18-20 per day
- Ability to work with assigned Medical Assistant support
