Job Summary
Conduct outpatient cardiology coverage Monday through Friday, handling consults and follow-up appointments with a daily volume of 18–20 patients. Complete treadmill stress tests, review EKGs and echocardiograms, and work alongside an assigned medical assistant using the Cerner EMR. This role requires board certification and includes paid travel and expenses with no call requirements. The clinic is located in central California and offers a revitalized downtown area with nearby national parks and lakes for relaxation during your time off.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification
- EMR experience with Cerner
- Ability to perform consults and follow-up appointments
- Ability to complete treadmill tests
- Ability to read EKGs
- Ability to read Echocardiograms
- Availability for Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule
- Ability to work without call requirements
- Outpatient setting experience
