General Cardiologist position at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS. Fully employed, 1.0 FTE, inpatient/outpatient mix within a comprehensive Cardiology group of 8 Cardiologists and 9 APPs. Clinical practice only (no research/teaching) with 4 hours of administrative time weekly. Structural heart program includes ASOIPFO, TAVR and Watchman with plans for Mitral/Triclip. Schedule is M-F with outreach and weekend/Holidays on IP schedule; 1:6 call; extensive on-site imaging and device clinics (Nuclear Stress, Echo, Echo Stress, Vascular Sonography, Cardiac Rehab, Vein Clinic, Device Clinic). EMR/Epic, Ambience AI scribe to reduce administrative burden. Relocation allowance and comprehensive recruitment package. Mentorship available; J-1 waiver support via state programs; eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Located in Topeka, a midwestern city with outreach to 10 locations, affiliated with Forbes-recognized health system.
