Job Summary
General Cardiologist position at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS. Full-time (1.0 FTE) clinical role with inpatient/outpatient mix in a comprehensive cardiology program supported by a team of 8 cardiologists and 9 APPs, plus CT surgeons and cardiothoracic APPs. Responsibilities include clinical practice with no research/teaching requirement, 4 hours of administrative time weekly, and participation in a structural heart program (ASOIPFO, TAVR, Watchman) with plans for Mitral and Triclip. Outpatient clinic during the week with rotating weekend/holiday IP schedule; call 1:6 (5 days per month). Opportunities to leverage Epic EMR and Ambience AI for documentation, and access on-site advanced imaging (Nuclear Stress, Echo, Vascular Testing, Cardiac Rehab, Device Clinic). Outreach across 10 locations; involvement in NCDR Registries.
