Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including removing and reinstalling transmission systems. Assist other technicians in performing technical activities and explain discovered problems to service writers and technicians. Professionally record findings to ensure accurate repair cost estimates while continuously learning new technical information, equipment, and repair techniques. Requires a valid driver's license, professional-grade tools, and 1-3 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting. Daytime work hours M-F with access to proprietary training programs and live technician support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1- 3 years' experience working as a General Automotive Technician
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need
- Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
