Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including removing and reinstalling transmission systems. Explain problems discovered during inspections to service writers and technicians while professionally recording findings for accurate cost estimates. Assist other technicians in performing technical activities and continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing, with a safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment. Requires a valid driver's license, professional grade tools, and 3+ years of experience as a General Automotive Technician.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience working as a General Automotive Technician
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need
- Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
