Job Summary
General Auto Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles, performing routine maintenance and preventative service, diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical/drivability issues, conducting inspections to ensure safety and standards, troubleshooting maintenance concerns, maintaining detailed service records, and collaborating with fellow technicians in a fast-paced maintenance facility. ASE certifications are a plus but not required; candidate should demonstrate strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a large-scale fleet environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Valid driver's license required
