General Assignment Reporter

Job Summary
Create, shoot, write and edit meaningful stories for the station’s newscast that can be used across multiple platforms; provide news on-air as directed by the news management team; engage with local community members; review material for fairness, accuracy, and balance; work closely with Producers, Editors, Anchors, News Directors, and the broader news team; must have proven knowledge and experience with current media creation tools and newsroom systems, excel in storytelling across multiple platforms, strong writing and copy-editing skills, and at least three years of experience as a Reporter; able to work under pressure to meet deadlines; Sinclair is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience as a Reporter
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills
- Proven knowledge and experience working with current media creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems
- Excel in storytelling across multiple platforms
