Job Summary
Perform mechanical fitting assembly operations, including wire cutting, stripping, torque application, and sensor component assembly. Operate automatic and semi-automatic production equipment such as laser marking and welding machines while reading work instructions and engineering drawings. Conduct electrical testing for insulation resistance, continuity, and polarity, and perform inspections using measuring tools like rulers and calipers. Adhere to all company policies, plant procedures, and safety requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires basic math skills, ability to lift 40 pounds, and passing a visual acuity test.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions and basic engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to pass a visual acuity (vision) test
- Ability to lift and handle up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to move between multiple work areas as production demands require
