Job Summary
Conduct the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices while setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment. Perform quality inspections on processing lines and adhere strictly to standard operating procedures, GMP, and safety guidelines. Transport materials using handling equipment, conduct area safety inspections, and participate in internal audits and investigative teams. Complete required regulatory training and maintain proper housekeeping and labeling. Available for overtime and rotation into different tasks as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred or 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours
- Must be able to report to work on a regular, punctual basis
- Must be able to lift or move at least 50 pounds
- Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading manufacturing machines
- Work experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industry that complies with GMP
- Able to read, write, and understand Basic English
- Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack
- Basic PC navigation such as the ability to enter data into programs/software applications
- Experience of leading small group of people
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate and effectively work as part of a team
- Experience working third shift
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities
