Job Summary
Under direct supervision, train to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures. Follow GMPs, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams while transporting materials using established safety guidelines. Conduct area safety inspections to identify hazards, monitor personal and peer behaviors, and participate in internal audits or site investigative teams. Correct findings from assessments and complete all regulatory training as assigned. Be available for overtime and other projects as requested by management. Work in compliance with FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations while maintaining proper housekeeping and labeling.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4 or 12 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Experience leading manufacturing machines
- Work experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industry that complies with GMP
- Able to read, write, and understand Basic English
- Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack
- Basic PC navigation such as the ability to enter data into programs/software applications
- Experience of leading small group of people
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate and effectively work as part of a team
- Experience working third shift
