Job Summary
Assemble small catheter parts and medical devices using hand tools, microscopes, and precision instruments in a clean-room environment. Perform quality inspections on the processing line, enter batch information into the database, and accurately complete Device History Records. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment while adhering to quality guidelines, even when standard operating procedures are not yet defined. Work with razor blades, tweezers, and measurement tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure attention to detail. This entry-level contract role in Tempe, AZ, requires 6+ months of assembly experience and offers potential temp-to-hire opportunities with a medical device pioneer.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizens Or GC Holders Only
- Entry level – at least 6 mo. exp.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum One (1) to two (2) year of manufacturing assembly experience with small parts assembly experience, microscope or inspection.
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as calipers, micrometers, rulers.
- Able to work with razor blades, tweezers and microscopes.
- Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
- Has good attention to detail.
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
- Clean room environment, must be comfortable wearing a full clean room attire and safety glasses.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 25 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
