Job Summary
Assemble small catheter parts and medical devices using hand tools, microscopes, and precision instruments in a clean room environment. Perform quality inspections on the processing line, conduct microscope work, and operate or troubleshoot equipment while adhering to quality guidelines. Enter batch information into the database, accurately complete Device History Records, and assist with project qualifications as needed. This 12-month contract in Tempe, AZ requires 40 hours per week at $16–20/hr and involves rotating through tasks including oven and front-end operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 mo. exp.
- Minimum One (1) to two (2) year of manufacturing assembly experience
- Small parts assembly experience
- Microscope or inspection experience
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as calipers, micrometers, rulers
- Ability to work with razor blades, tweezers and microscopes
- Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours
- Must report to work on a regular, punctual basis
- Has good attention to detail
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities
- Must be comfortable wearing a full clean room attire
- Must be comfortable wearing safety glasses
- US Citizens Or GC Holders Only
