Job Summary
General Assembler responsible for assembling foam components by gluing, bonding, taping, or fitting materials according to instructions and work orders; read and follow blueprints or work orders; inspect materials and finished products for quality; operate hand tools, hot wire cutters, and band saws; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; participate in training and cross-training across assembly tasks; support packaging and labeling as needed; meet production deadlines with consistent quality; team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing or foam fabrication environment is a plus
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (ruler, tape measure)
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, and machine settings in English
- Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) is a plus for effective communication on a diverse team
