Job Summary
General Accounting Senior Analyst based in Cluj-Napoca, hybrid role supporting operations across Europe, IMEA and APAC. Responsibilities include general accounting and tax-related activities, timely delivery of accurate financial information, monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, accounting memorandums for complex group transactions, month-end close, VAT reviews/submissions, ad-hoc M&A support, development and improvement of accounting policies, and cross-functional collaboration with international teams. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics/Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of relevant experience, advanced Excel, fluent English, solid accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities. Preferred: Oracle ERP experience, multinational/international experience, cross-functional collaboration, and an interest in process optimization and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
