Job Summary
As a General Accounting Manager, you will oversee general accounting functions, establish effective internal controls, and ensure timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Responsibilities include managing accounting operations, leading teams, coordinating journal entries and reconciliations, and assisting with year-end audits. You will provide direction to direct reports and collaborate with other functional teams for improvement initiatives. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, relevant accounting experience, and knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting required
- Five to seven years relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP required
- Experience in developing, improving, and implementing financial information systems
Desired Qualifications
- CPA preferred
- MBA preferred
- Experience with a major ERP system (i.e., Oracle, JDE, SAP)
