Job Summary
General Accounting role within Harman Finance SSC focused on end-to-end GL activities including month-, quarter-, and year-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include posting journal entries, intercompany reconciliations and settlements, fixed asset accounting, cash application, and supporting audits and tax reviews. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and at least 3 years of GL/R2R experience in an SSC, with SAP proficiency and advanced Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and teamwork required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience with hands-on GL/R2R experience in an SSC environment
- Proficient in SAP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Good command of written & spoken English for daily work communication
- Strong attention to detail, sense of ownership, ability to work under pressure during closing periods, and good communication and teamwork skills
