General Accounting & IG Reconciliation Team Leader

Job Summary
Lead the General Accounting and Intercompany Reconciliation team, overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany settlements. Collaborate across departments to ensure proper accounting treatment and intercompany balances, ensure compliance with Mexican GAAP and IFRS, develop robust internal controls over financial reporting, prepare management reports, mentor and develop team members, drive process improvements, support internal and external audits, and ensure adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years progressive accounting experience
- 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes
- Strong knowledge of Mexican GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP and BlackLine Intercompany and Reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Fluent in Spanish and English
