Job Summary
General Accountant at FlapKap responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, month-end closing support, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable oversight, and comprehensive financial reporting. You will assist in budgeting/forecasting, ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements, support external audits and regulatory reporting, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 2–5 years of experience, ERP proficiency, and strong Excel skills; Egyptian standards/tax knowledge preferred; hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations is preferred
- Professional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or DipIFR are a plus
