Job Summary
GenAI Engineering Lead responsible for hands-on development and leadership of ML/LLM-powered solutions within JPMorgan Chase's Asset and Wealth Management AI Engineering team. Lead architecting and implementing lighthouse ML/LLM-powered solutions, building scalable data processing pipelines, deploying model inference services to production in public clouds (AWS/Azure), and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams to accelerate adoption of AI capabilities. Requires strong Python programming, cloud experience, and expertise across ML/AI domains, data processing, and system architecture, with a track record of delivering high-impact AI applications for financial services clients.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Machine Learning
- Minimum 5 years development experience
- Proven leadership capacity
- Solid Python programming skills required
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
- Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude)
- Knowledge of data pipelines (batch and real-time)
- SQL and NoSQL experience (Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis)
- Expertise in architecture disciplines
- Deep knowledge in Data structures, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Statistics
- Excellent communication skills
