Job Summary
Lead GenAI Database Engineer to design, build, and scale GenAI data platforms that integrate Graph, Vector, and Relational databases to enable explainable, production-grade GenAI solutions. Responsibilities include architecting end-to-end GenAI data architectures supporting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Knowledge Graph–augmented LLMs, leading design and optimization of enterprise-scale Knowledge Graphs, engineering vector-based retrieval systems, and maintaining high-performance relational schemas. Collaborate with product, ML, and business stakeholders, provide technical leadership and governance for AI data, security, privacy, and metadata management, and mentor GenAI engineers. Requires senior-level expertise in graph databases, vector databases, relational databases, graph theory, embeddings, SQL, and experience shaping scalable data platforms and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Graph Databases, Vector Databases, Relational Databases
- Knowledge Graphs in production (good to have)
- Deep understanding of graph theory and graph algorithms
- Vector similarity search and embeddings
- SQL and relational modeling
- 5+ years overall experience in advanced data platforms
- 3+ years in GenAI / Graph database–driven systems
- Strong system-level thinking across data, AI, and infrastructure
- Excellent communication with stakeholders
- Bias toward ownership, hands-on execution, and continuous improvement
