Job Summary
GenAI Application Dev Team Leader responsible for leading a GenAI application development team, shaping architecture and delivering advanced AI solutions built on language models and GenAI technologies. Coordinate incoming opportunities, scope and estimate work, allocate resources, and plan delivery. Design and develop robust backend systems in Python (APIs, data transformations, interactive tools) with emphasis on security and performance. Drive DevOps and cloud integration (containerization with Docker, deployment to Azure, CI/CD pipelines, version control, model/inference deployment). Design data and API interfaces with relational and NoSQL databases and REST integrations focusing on security and scalability. Guide the team in AI frameworks and libraries (LangChain, Semantic Kernel) and promote RAG/LLMOps practices. Requirements include leadership experience, strong Python and library knowledge (FastAPI, Streamlit, Pandas), modern frontend awareness, database and API design basics, English communication, and a proactive team player mindset. The role offers flexible working hours and home-office options with occasional 2–3 days per week in-office collaboration, and opportunities for career growth in the Czech Republic and globally. This position is based in Ostrava or Plzeň with remote/hybrid work allowed.
Required Qualifications
- VŠ/SŠ vzdělání v oboru IT, softwarového inženýrství nebo příbuzném technickém směru
- zájem o generativní AI (GenAI), jazykové modely (LLM)
- zkušenosti s vedením týmu
- dobrá znalost Pythonu a knihoven (např. FastAPI, Streamlit, Pandas)
- přehled v moderních FE frameworkcích
- zkušenost s vývojem softwarových aplikací – návrh, implementace, testování a nasazení
- kontejnerizace (Docker) a cloud (Azure)
- základní znalost databází (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) a API (REST)
- základní zkušenost s AI frameworky a knihovnami (LangChain, Semantic Kernel)
- angličtina na komunikativní úrovni
- ochota učit se GenAI procesům (RAG, prompt engineering, Microsoft Foundry)
- schopnost práce v týmu
