Job Summary
Collaborate with teachers to implement MTSS and PBIS strategies, modeling positive behavioral interventions across all building situations. Support classroom instruction by monitoring student progress, maintaining structured learning environments, and providing daily feedback on academic and behavioral data. Work directly with students in skills rooms and hallways to foster self-discipline, resolve conflicts, and build rapport with culturally diverse learners. Input data into student systems and manipulate spreadsheets to track individual progress. Communicate regularly with instructional staff regarding student issues and adhere to a flexible schedule requiring full attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- Computer skills to input data into student data system and manipulate spreadsheets
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to communicate and relate to students in a non-threatening and friendly manner
- Patience and positive interpersonal skills with all students
- Strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility due to changes in schedule and student population
- Must be able to stand for a period of time
- Must be able to walk for extended period of time
- Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs
