Job Summary
GEN ED PARA EDUCATOR role (3 hours/day) supporting MTSS and PBIS, assisting with instruction and student progress, and inputting data into the student data system. Collaborates with teachers to maintain a positive, structured learning environment, supports classroom instruction, and helps monitor and document student progress. Requires strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with culturally diverse students and families, willingness to learn MTSS/PBIS processes, and ability to handle hall duty and data entry in a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to input data into student data system
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse student populations
- Experience using MTSS or willingness to be trained
- Experience using PBIS or willingness to be trained
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers
- Able to communicate with students in a positive, non-threatening manner
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to changes in schedule and student population
- Experience working with at-risk students a plus
- Walk hallways and monitor during class and passing times
- Maintain records and provide feedback as requested
