Job Summary
Provide individualized 1:1 instruction focused on GED course material, placement test preparation, and core subject mastery including reading strategies, mathematical concepts, and basic computer literacy. Guide the student through structured, accessible learning strategies tailored to an adult learner while maintaining a patient environment that builds confidence. Track academic progress and adjust instructional pace based on the student's needs and community college coursework. Sessions occur in-person in Flagstaff, AZ, with two weekly meetings totaling five hours.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with GED Course and Test Prep
- Strong ability to teach foundational math concepts, reading strategies, and basic digital literacy
