Job Summary
Assemble, service, and repair Formula One transmission systems and gearbox components to meet strict performance, reliability, and delivery targets. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct assembly, while maintaining accurate build documentation for full traceability. Support the Race Team, development programmes, and future vehicle projects through dyno testing, track testing, and race event operations. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and assist in training new team members. Manage workloads and gearbox stock in a self-sufficient manner while adhering to Health & Safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Formula One or top-tier motorsport environments
- Advanced knowledge of transmission assembly, servicing, repair, and testing
- Strong understanding of current motorsport build methodologies and technical specifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and digital build documentation accurately
- Excellent teamwork, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of confident decision-making under tight deadlines
- Analytical approach to technical challenges with a focus on continuous improvement
- Committed to maintaining the highest Health & Safety and quality standards
