Job Summary

Develop short- and long-range plans to ensure the success of the GEAR UP Wyoming grant. Continually evaluate and assess grant activities, institute changes to optimize resources, and ensure compliance with federal legislation, SEO and UW policies. Design and monitor operating policies for subrecipient partner records, manage annual budgets and site budgets, ensure proper award of scholarship funds, oversee grant reporting and timelines, hire/train/supervise up to five staff and temporary summer program staff, negotiate subrecipient agreements, manage data collection and grant-writing processes, and communicate with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrate integrity, strategic planning, and effective staff leadership while coordinating with statewide partners and engaging in travel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years work-related experience or Master’s degree and 3 years work-related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available for this position
