Job Summary
Lead the implementation of innovative, data-driven monitoring strategies across global clinical development programmes and drive the adoption of adaptive monitoring approaches aligned with risk-based quality management principles. Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance trial oversight, quality, and operational effectiveness while shaping and improving monitoring processes, tools, standards, and governance frameworks. Champion innovation through analytics, technology enablement, and continuous improvement programmes, monitoring performance metrics and compliance outcomes to drive sustainable enhancements and best practices. This role supports Novartis' global clinical operations transformation within a hybrid London-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences, business, operations or a related discipline
- Strong experience delivering innovative approaches within clinical trials and clinical operations environments
- Deep understanding of clinical trial oversight, monitoring practices and regulatory expectations
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders globally
- Experience using data, analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement and decision-making
- Excellent communication, collaboration and change leadership skills within matrix organisations
- Remote (For those residing in the United Kingdom, but more than 50 miles from the office)
