Job Summary
GCP Engineer at ING Hubs Poland responsible for building and maintaining components of ING’s Data Analytics Platform on Google Cloud; developing Golang-based infrastructure automation services and platform tooling; preparing cloud-ready and IaC-based solutions using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines; supporting platform tenants and helping them onboard smoothly; maintaining and improving key platform components; contributing to platform architecture, standards and engineering practices; implementing and improving monitoring, logging and alerting for platform services; supporting operational stability, including participation in on-call support where applicable; collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists and platform users to deliver scalable, secure and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc, Vertex AI, GCS or similar
- hands-on experience with Golang
- Terraform; Infrastructure as Code mindset
- deployment and provisioning automation using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, observability and basic production troubleshooting
