Job Summary
Drive the design and implementation of critical UI components within the Digital Engineering stack, leading a team to deliver a consumer-grade, industry-leading digital experience for corporate clients. Architect full-stack applications on AWS, focusing on code quality, automation, and testability while collaborating with backend teams, product owners, and visual designers. Define the product roadmap, contribute to the engineering culture, and ensure the platform remains highly available and resilient for 24x7 cash management operations. Operate in a flat structure across the entire software life-cycle, utilizing agile methodologies to evolve solutions rapidly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience using a modern UI programming language (Javascript/TypeScript)
- Experience building modern UI products using React
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders
- Experience architecting, designing full stack apps in AWS
- Prior experience with working on high availability, mission critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodology
- BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Node, Webpack, MobX, Redux
- Experience with Spring boot, Kafka
- Experience with Microservice architectures and REST API
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and nosql (Dynamo/Mongo DB)
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Transaction Banking, Payment domain
- Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
- Practical experience with containers is a plus
- Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum / Kanban)
