Job Summary
Adjunct Welding faculty at Great Bay Community College (Portsmouth Campus) to teach WELD 100G Basic Welding on a course-by-course basis for Fall 2026. Responsibilities include assisting with course preparation and instruction for up to 16 weeks, in-classroom or online instruction, and meeting CCSNH requirements. Requires an associates degree or welding certificate, at least 5 years of welding experience across major processes, ability to read blueprints with solid math skills, familiarity with welding codes/procedures, fabrication tools experience, leadership and safety focus, and computer literacy. Applications reviewed on an ongoing basis; background check required. Location and residency restrictions apply (New England states).
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or welding certificate
- 5 years experience
- Experience in all major welding processes (Oxy-Fuel, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, Flux Core, Aluminum)
- Knowledge of code welding procedures and specifications
- Reading blueprints with strong mathematics
- Experience with fabrication and tools
- Leadership skills with a focus on safety
- Computer literacy
- Background check required
