Job Summary
Oversee home care services for individuals requiring assistance with daily living, including coordinating staffing, scheduling, and conducting in-home assessments. Ensure Agency policies, industry standards, and regulations are followed while supervising designated employees and providing leadership. Develop strategic plans, evaluate service quality, and liaise with community resources. Cover homes when staffing is limited in your area. Maintain appropriate contact with the manager and administer policies to optimize resource use. Requires a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and C.N.A. license.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license
- Proper Vehicle Insurance Coverage
- High School graduate or equivalent (Current C.N.A license)
- Knowledge of standards of practice and scope of practice, in accordance with state regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client and family care
- Knowledge of personal care and home management skills
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards and evaluation of client satisfaction
- Knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat injuries including emergency first aid and CPR
- Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms
- Ability to demonstrate effective supervisory abilities
