Job Summary
Service and installation of commercial, retail, and industrial gate security jobs across multiple states. Diagnose and repair CCTV surveillance, access control, burglar alarm, and gate entry systems while running cable and conduit. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete product line and explain technical information to non-technical customers. Requires valid driver's license, clean driving record, and 1-3 years of security systems technician experience. Must be able to work on ladders and lifts with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. OSHA 10 training preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of the electronic security solutions industry
- Understanding of CCTV Surveillance Systems
- Understanding of Access Control Systems
- Understanding of Burglar Alarm Systems
- Understanding of Gate and Gate Entry Systems
- Strong mechanical skills
- Strong electrical skills
- Ability to work on ladders
- Ability to work on lifts
- Ability to work on a team or on an individual project
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals
- Ability to install conduit
- Ability to efficiently run cable/wire
- Ability to maintain an in-depth knowledge of our complete line of products and services
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Must be organized
- Must be self-driven
- Must be customer service focused
- Proficiency in Security and Alarm based Applications
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Previous low voltage installation experience
- 1-3 years' experience as a Security Systems Technician
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in welding
- OSHA 10 training
