Job Summary
Service and installation of commercial, retail, and industrial gate security jobs across multiple states. Diagnose and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance, access control, burglar alarm, and gate entry systems while installing conduit and running cable. Apply strong mechanical and electrical skills to maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete product line. Explain technical information to non-technical individuals and represent the company to new and existing customers. Requires valid driver's license, clean driving record, and 1-3 years of security systems technician experience. OSHA 10 training preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of the electronic security solutions industry
- Understanding of CCTV Surveillance Systems
- Understanding of Access Control Systems
- Understanding of Burglar Alarm Systems
- Understanding of Gate and Gate Entry Systems
- Strong mechanical skills
- Strong electrical skills
- Ability to work on ladders
- Ability to work on lifts
- Ability to work on a team or on an individual project
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals
- Ability to install conduit
- Ability to efficiently run cable/wire
- Ability to maintain an in-depth knowledge of our complete line of products and services
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Must be organized
- Must be self-driven
- Must be customer service focused
- Proficiency in Security and Alarm based Applications
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Previous low voltage installation experience
- 1-3 years' experience as a Security Systems Technician
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to climb ladders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in welding
- OSHA 10 training
