Job Summary
Conduct fan security screening before and during baseball games and other events at American Family Field, including bag screening, operating walk-through and handheld metal detectors, and monitoring for prohibited items. Greet fans politely, observe entry points, and process credentials for media members and guests at dock entrances. Interact with attendees using positive communication skills to ensure a pleasant experience while maintaining safety standards. Work five-hour shifts with a maximum of 30 hours per week, available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends during the season. Attend mandatory training sessions, stadium tours, and early entry screenings. Submit availability and complete employment training via computer or mobile programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be available to attend training sessions, stadium tours and other events, as necessary, prior to beginning of the baseball season
- Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends during baseball season
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to stand throughout five (5) hour shift
- Willing to learn and use programs on your computer and/or mobile phone to submit availability and complete necessary employment training
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with crowd control at a major sports venue preferred
- Background or training in criminal justice a plus
