Gate Attendant/Scale Operator

Monitor and record waste volumes entering the post collection site while collecting usage fees from customers. Determine material content to properly bill clients, accepting or rejecting waste loads based on special waste types and local market training. Receive payment, provide receipts, and balance daily receipts to ensure accurate recordkeeping before depositing funds into the safe depository. Document waste entries using truck scales and computer systems, then notify operations of special loads to direct or dispatch as necessary. Answer telephone inquiries and maintain work area cleanliness while performing other assigned duties.
