Gate Attendant/Scale Operator

Monitor and record waste volumes entering the post collection site, collecting usage fees from customers and determining material content for accurate billing. Accept or reject waste loads based on special waste types and local market training, then balance daily receipts and deposit funds into the safe depository. Document waste entries using truck scales and computer systems, notify operations of special loads, and process required paperwork. Answer telephone inquiries and maintain work area cleanliness while performing other assigned duties.
