Job Summary
Gate Attendant at ACV Auctions responsible for controlling access to the auto auction facility, verifying vehicle documentation, logging incoming/outgoing vehicles, performing visual inspections for damage, ensuring only authorized personnel and customers enter, directing and assisting customers and drivers, communicating with internal departments about vehicle movement, maintaining gate-area organization and safety, reporting safety concerns or policy violations, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in security, logistics, automotive, or customer service is a plus
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
- Outdoor work tolerance
