Job Summary
Monitor and control all auction vehicle traffic entering and exiting the lot, verify vehicle documentation, and accurately log incoming and outgoing vehicles using internal systems. Conduct visual inspections of vehicles for damage, ensure only authorized personnel access the facility, and provide directions to customers and drivers. Communicate with internal departments regarding vehicle movement, maintain gate area organization and safety standards, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to management. Perform additional duties as assigned while following all security and operational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security, logistics, automotive, or customer service
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Visual ability to read VINs and inspect vehicles
