Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit points to verify visitor, contractor, and truck driver identities using government-issued ID. Issue and maintain visitor badges while registering arrivals in digital or logbook systems with full details. Direct drivers to loading/unloading areas, record truck and cargo information, and ensure yard safety protocols are communicated. Conduct routine perimeter checks, report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts, and notify warehouse personnel of all visitor arrivals. Maintain clear communication with drivers and visitors while staying calm in high-pressure situations. Primarily stationed indoors with periodic outdoor duties under varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate digital logging systems and radio communication devices
- Basic computer skills for log entry and reporting
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Moderate lifting (up to 30lbs)
- Manual dexterity for badge issuance and log entry
